Child abandonment is now a real humanitarian emergency: in Italy alone there are about 20,000 children who live outside their families. Victims of abuse or poverty, every child has a story to tell. A story that tries to leave behind.
L'Albero della Vita
To all abandoned children, L'albero della vita offers its daily support, giving them health care, food, education. But above all, educating them with love so that today's child can become a happy adult tomorrow. L'albero della vita received the Silver Plaque of the Presidency of the Republic in 2002 for the high value of its activities. In 2007, a second Plaque was awarded for the Spokesperson for Children's Rights campaign. L'albero della vita is today a large organization that operates throughout the country, on 4 continents around the world, in developing countries. Its main activities are:
• services for the protection of minors in conditions of hardship with the construction of shelters for minors, networks of foster families, maternity support services, support and development of communities in conditions of serious hardship in poorer countries.
• awareness campaigns on children's rights in the world
• a commitment recognized at an institutional level, by thousands of supporters, by companies and private citizens, who each year finance the creation and development of many projects.
Arredoufficio supports L'Albero della Vita
Arredoufficio promotes a fundraiser in favor of L'Albero della Vita. The company aims to raise funds that will be used to purchase furniture for the La Bussola community in Borgarello di Pavia (because in a community such as in a house, furniture breaks and must be replaced) . As soon as the expected sum is collected, a communication will take place and the furniture will be purchased.
